Justin Meyer has been promoted to take over the head coaching duties for the 2017 season. Meyer has spent ten seasons as an assistant coach at Iowa Central after playing for the Tritons in 2001 and 2002. Meyer serves as the pitching coach and coordinates all aspects of the pitching staff. He is part of a select few who have both played and coached in the NJCAA II World Series. Meyer lead the Tritons to back-to-back World Series appearances during his playing days and recorded 4th place finishes both seasons. After his sophomore season, he was named a Second Team All-Region player as a pitcher. Following his playing days at Iowa Central, Meyer went on to finish his playing career at NCAA Division I Georgia State. He also works as the coordinator of the Flexlab on campus. Justin and his wife Amanda reside in Fort Dodge and have two daughters, Mia (2) and Cora (newborn).
